Description

Are you a Wiccan just starting out in your journey? Or a long-time practitioner who wants to understand the Wiccan Rede on a much deeper level? Then this course is for you! This course teaches the Wiccan Rede’s meaning and why it is followed, the meaning of the individual couplets, why there is a short and long version, and the difference between the Wiccan Rede and the Witches’ Creed. Learn the rhyme scheme of the rede. Then, study the couplets and their meanings. You will highlight, markup, and draw on your own copy of the Wiccan Rede that you can then use in your grimoire and book of shadows. “When daytime and nighttime are equal when sun is at greatest and least, The four lesser Sabbats are summoned again Witches gather in feast.” Study this couplet, only one of many, and come up with your own meaning. Wicca is an individualized religion where each individual has their own sacred text, their own grimoire, and their own correspondences for everything, so the meaning of the line is up to you, it’s how you see it, how it makes you feel, how your body reacts. Join me as we dive deep into the meaning of the Wiccan Rede and explore why one would follow it.
