Want to know what autism is?
Hi, I’m Loren Snow and welcome to my short course on what autism is.
This 45-minute short course and works as an introduction to my other courses and will guide you through the basics of autism’s communication, sensory, and processing differences. These are the key fundamentals in understanding how us autistic people understand and navigate through the world and should help you understand us better.
Over the past decade, I’ve taught tens-of thousands of parents, NHS staff, and businesses about autism. I work in the NHS reviewing autistic patients’ care and treatment in hospitals, and I deliver lots of sessions to schools, colleges, and organisations on sensory processing differences, disordered eating, autism and ADHD. I’m also autistic and ADHD myself so know what it’s like from the inside.
Autism can seem complicated; it can be confusing to understand at first and if you’re struggling to figure it out and need a simple overview, then this is the perfect introduction course for you. I hope you find this free course helpful and I look forward to seeing you on one of my other courses!
