Award in Education and Training (AET)
This course can provide two different outcomes depending on the needs and requirements of the learner.
1st outcome:
This course can be used alongside the fully regulated Level 3 Award in Education and Training Qualification that you can complete with us or any other provider. If you have not booked your full course yet you can contact [email protected] to register for the course where there will be an additional cost and assignments to complete to achieve the QNUK Level 3 AET (RQF) certificate.
2nd outcome:
You will not gain the fully regulated Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification but this online course does provide a good training platform to support your training to make your course easier to complete and you can also use this course to learn more about being an instructor, tutor or teacher in many different sectors.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is suitable for those looking for an introduction to teaching, whether or not you possess little or no teaching experience and may just have a desire to impart knowledge to others
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training will prepare learners for employment.

This course covers the following units
- Unit 1: Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training,
- Unit 2: Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training,
- Unit 3: Understanding assessment in education and training.
If you are opting for the fully regulated Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification you will need to complete the following:
- 3 x written assignments/workbooks (One per Module)
- 1 x micro-teach session (to be submitted as a recorded video)
- 2 x peer reviews from the participants in your micro-teach session. This should be completed using the observation form included.
- 2 x Trainer observation. This could be the same trainer teaching different topics or different trainers. These must be from a 15 minutes minimum session.
- 1 x Reflective Account
- Action Plan (short, medium and long term goals)
