Description

Who are We?

Al-Mawrid US was established in 2014 in order to educate people on Islam. In 2019, Al-Mawrid US took on the initiative of establishing the Ghamidi Center of Islamic Learning in Dallas, Texas as a formal educational institute. It is named after Javed Ahmed Ghamidi (b. 1951), a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Qur’an scholar, and an educationist.

Since its inception, Al-Mawrid’s aim has been to conduct research, educate people, and disseminate Islam based purely on the Qur’an and the Sunnah, freeing it from external influences that have gradually clouded the religious thought of Muslims over the last 14 centuries.

Every chapter has a theme and so does every surah. In every chapter the arrangement of the surahs is chronological and every chapter begins with one or more than one Makkan surah and end on one or more than one Madinan surah
