Description
Hello and Welcome to my Clinical Research Course!
I am certain that every professional, from a medical/nursing student to a physician, has or will encounter a research paper in their career; hence, I bring to you my course that lays out the fundamentals of clinical research.
I’ve arranged the entire course into four readily digestible modules, each with its own distinct title and some accompanying materials. All sections are summarised in the “Key concept” lectures, which serve as the final takeaways for the associated module. Every session concludes with a challenging quiz to ensure that you have understood the topic.
In the first section, we will define clinical research and compare it to standard care, as well as explain the value of clinical research’s impact on everyday life. The second section is followed by a researcher’s ethical responsibilities, including the foundational principles of ethics to obtaining informed consent and the need for informed consent. The third section focuses on one of the most significant topics in this course, which is the many kinds of Study Designs and when to apply each. Following that, the course concludes with the SOPs that must be maintained when performing clinical research.
By the end of the course, you will be able to recognize and familiarise yourself with any Clinical research paper.
