Earning RHCE certification requires having a valid RHCSA certification.
The credential can also act as a first step on your way to our highest level of certification—Red Hat Certified Architect—if you decide to continue your educational pursuits beyond RHCE.

* Students pursuing certification as a Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)
* IT workers who work in a DevOps environment and want to demonstrate their ability to automate some of their workload include systems administrators who want to demonstrate their expertise in managing various systems.
* Red Hat Certified Engineers that want to recertify as RHCEs but are no longer current or are soon to become so

Prerequisites for this exam
To obtain the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification,

* This is necessary have either completed the RHCSA Rapid Track Course (RH199) or both Red Hat System Administration I and II (RH124, RH134), or have equivalent job experience as a system administrator on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
*Possess equivalent work experience or have taken Red Hat System Administration III: Linux Automation with Ansible (RH294)
*Study the objectives for the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) exam (EX200).
*Review the objectives for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (EX294) Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) exam.

RHCSA EX200 RHEL-9:

This exam practice course is based on RHEL-9 and will hopefully prepare you for passing the exam with confidence.

RHCSA (EX200) is a performance-based exam. It is a practical test   that requires you to perform realistic tasks. You cannot get any outside   help. Only documentation provided with the product during testing is   available (for example, man and info pages). The duration of the exam is   3 hours. To pass the exam, you must be able to complete the tasks in   the practice exams in a real environment without assistance.

  • Duration: 2.5 hrs
