Description

Objectives and Key Results (OKR) is a great tool for goal-oriented management – to create clarity and focus across the organization on what we want to achieve together when we develop something new.

The OKR concept is simple and intuitive –ย  by defining inspiring Objectives (O) and measurable Key Results (KR) development teams have a clear focus for development.

OKRs are widely used in large successful companies, and also lean and agile development teams have been adopting the use of the methodology.

During this course, you will learn the OKR concept, understand how OKRs may be used for development portfolios, programs, projects, or teams, and get practical tips to avoid common mistakes, and also receive an e-book and PowerPoint Workbook you can use when taking OKRs into use.

The mini course is targeted for busy business and technology leaders and experts, with short videos to ensure you have time learn the content!

Objectives and Key Results for Developmentย  mini-course include the following course modules:

In the first module, we will focus on OKR concept, and learn about the thinking and philosophy behind.ย  You will receive also a small assignment to try OKRs out in your own context – to define your own personal Objectives and Key results.

The Second module is focusing on OKRs for Development. What do the OKRs mean for development portfolio, program, or project? Or in case you are organized around agile teams, or want to utilize OKRs at the unit level, how could this work for you?

The third module is about facilitating the Objectives and Key results process – we will go through the different steps for OKR definition, and you get also a Facilitation kit and templates you can use and modify based on your own needs.

The fourth module is about feedback loops – and this is where the magic happens. Defining OKRs has its own value, but including OKR feedback loops as a part of the standard agenda makes OKRs a super powerful tool.

We will also go through how to avoid some common mistakes many teams struggle with at the beginning of the journey.
