This is a beginner level course. A vocabulary workbook is included so that students can be sure to understand the vocabulary that will be used before beginning the lessons.
Description
This mini-course is designed to help you improve your English conversational skills while you master the use of the seven most common prepositions of place. We will focus on the words we use all the time to describe where things are in our homes and offices. The prepositions of place we will use in this mini-course are: in | inside, on | on top of, under, next to, between, in front of, and behind.
This mini-course is all about learning the words by practicing using the words correctly in complete sentences in conversations.
You will listen to a dialogue. You will practice the correct pronunciation of the words. You will practice using the words in sentences to describe where things are. You will have a simulated conversation with me, using the prepositions of place. And you will write descriptions, using the prepositions of place. And you will probably learn some new vocabulary words for things that you have in your home or office.
The lessons are designed to help you improve your listening and speaking skills so that you can use what you’re learning in conversation.
By the end of this mini-course, you will be easily using these prepositions of place in your everyday life and your ability to communicate in English will be more confident and natural.
