In this course you will learn the basic principles of watercolors, color mixing and watercolor techniques.
Description
In this course, you will learn the basic principles of watercolours. How the colour wheel works. How to mix basic colour combinations and how to create simple watercolour textures. At the end of the course, we will finish two small paintings where you can use the techniques you have learned.
In the first part, we shall paint a beautiful sunset with watercolours. This is a very simple painting practice that you can do even if you are not a very experienced painter.
In part 2 we shall paint a lighthouse. Lighthouse is a perfect practice for somebody who is just starting to try out painting landscapes. Shapes are quite simple and you get to play around with different textures. Painting water can be challenging if you make it so. Use these tips that you will learn in this course and try them. Painting water and sky can be a fun challenge!
I will teach you what kind of paper you should be used for wet on wet techniques and what kind of different patterns you can create with watercolours, starting with the basic flat was to gradient wash and so on. Watercolours are easy to master if you have enough will and patience to do so.
