The kora is a 21 strings traditional harp from West Africa, originally only played for kings and noble families..
In this course, you will learn the kora from scratch, and even if you have never played any instrument this course is for you!
It will gove you the tools to start even if you don’ thave a teacher, and it will give you the confidence to start looking for other kora players and start exchanging.
You will have to be patient though, and do the exercises with care and focus.
I have developped a step by step procedure to ease your way into the world of playing the kora, so that you enjoy the process and are not discouraged by the complexity of the instrument.
