Description

TradePhlo Customs Training Program is an online course designed to provide participants with the essential knowledge required to navigate the UK Customs and the Customs Declaration Service (CDS). The course is divided into eight modules, each covering a specific topic related to customs and international trade.

Module 1 provides an introduction to UK Customs and CDS, including the Border Operating Model, types of goods, functions, features, and benefits of CDS, and C88/E2 replacement. Module 2 covers data elements and SAD/C88 boxes, detailing the eight data groups, what data elements are, and the correlation table between DE and SAD/C88 boxes.

Module 3 focuses on the UK Trade Tariff, providing an overview of the tariff, its appendices, declaration categories, commodity codes, structure, and additional codes, and tariff classifications videos. Module 4 delves into delivery terms, valuation, and representation, including the commonly used Incoterms, additions and deductions in valuation, and representation.

Module 5 covers import and export controls, including sanitary and phytosanitary controls, rules of origin, Customs Procedure Codes (CPC), and key changes in CDS. Module 6 focuses on methods of payment and authorizations, including guarantees and authorizations.

Module 7 provides an overview of documents, certifications, and authorization indicators, including the replacement of LIC99 override statement with CDS Waiver, Union and national document codes and status codes, Import Matrix, Export Matrix, and example scenarios.
