Happiness has two components. First component includes the experience of positive emotions. Happy people experience more frequent positive emotions โ€“ enthusiasm, tranquilly, joy, pride, affection. A happy person also has a sense that life is good. That they are satisfied with life with the way they are progressing with their life goals. So happiness is about being happy IN your life and being happy WITH your life. How you can experience more meaning and satisfaction in life defines happiness.
