This is a course in the science of well-being and happiness. We discuss well-being in each life dimension: body, mind, spirit, emotions, and social (some sections still in production but forthcoming!). By the end of this course, you will have a whole new toolkit of insights that will each help make your life better in some small way. Together, these pieces lay a powerful path to well-being and happiness.

This science this course is based on is my own collection of well-being science from the world’s top scientific journals. I pulled together nearly 500 scientific studies about happiness and well-being in my book Whacked Out. This course is based on the science in that book. So, if you like what you see here and want to know more, my book is one place for you to get additional information. I also developed full beach retreats in Costa Rica based on the science of happiness from this collection of research. You can come spend 8 days living and learning happiness science at Paradise Found Retreat, complete with learning to surf and learning some MMA. And finally, we’ve got a private Facebook group we invite you to join once you join this course, and you can have all of the discussion you want in that space.

Because this course includes my own collection of happiness science, it will be unlike other courses you may have taken on the topic. I’m sure there will be some overlap, but just as you don’t expect the same course title to have the exact same content at different universities or even among different instructors within the same department, this course will have different content and a different approach from the others. That means this will only augment your previous knowledge on the topic, no matter how many courses you’ve already taken on the science of happiness and well-being.
