This course teaches the biblical foundations of interpretive praise dance, which incorporates all styles of dance. The foundations taught are important for one to be an effective minister of the gospel through dance as well as become a thoroughly equipped dance coach.

The content includes:

  • what interpretive praise dance is
  • biblical aspects of dance
  • how to praise, worship and pray through the mode of dance
  • the benefits of dance
  • what to do when dancing
  • attitudes of a dancer
  • requirements of dance ministry
  • dance ministry colors

It is important to utilize what you will learn and find your niche and horn your skill in that area, so you become an effective and authentic dancer and instructor.

My hope is that learners will replicate themselves by coaching other dancers in order to make disciples and spread the gospel through the tool of dance. As your learn and teach others, encourage those you teach to do the same.

Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” [b]Amen.

The way to Gods heart is through praise and worship, and dance is an important aspect which has been neglected in the church, viewed as entertainment, but not a form of praise that God loves. It is my desire to see this ministry recognised and practised in the house of God, as those who are equipped through this course establish such ministries in their churches, with biblical foundations. Moreover, it is my desire to see God praised through dance in homes, schools and communities. It is also my desire to see children, youth, young adults, ladies and men, become involved in this ministry.
