This course kick starts by teaching you to play a syncopation song in a few minutes. We will then learn to boogie and play a jazz riff, and of course a famous classical piece from Beethoven that you can show off to your friends and family.
This course is designed for you if you want to start playing immediately, and leave the theory for later.
I’ve added in some sheet music for you to download and print. If you are able to read it, that’s great, but if not then this might be your next goal to achieve. One of the downloads contains some of the best finger exercises I know, by Hanon. These are tremendously helpful to liberate your fingers into independence and freedom from one another, yet bind them together with precision and strength. You can play these often, and over a long period of time. I would aim to get through them over a year or two with a little daily focus. I enjoy them, and to feel your fingers become beautifully controlled is a joy I wish to share with you.
