Learn how to jam with friends or with backing tracks online – and play beautiful improvisations
What you will learn
You will learn 4 principles of getting a beautiful, full sound out of the harmonica.
You would start exploring the concept of “jammin” – and you’ll play your first harmonica solos.
You would learn the basics of music theory, in a way that’s tailored to harmonica players.
You would practically be creating music with different backing tracks in different styles, and learn how to accommodate each one with your playing.
Description
Your musical creativity is at the heart of this course.
You will learn how to take the harmonica, and start improvising beautiful solos.
These are solos that you can play when you are, for example:
- Jamming with friends who are playing guitar or piano
- Playing with a backing track that you’ve found on YouTube
- Just playing them “acapella” – harmonica only, only guided by your creativity.
The lessons are going to, first of all, explore how to get a beautiful, full sound out of the harmonica, and then we are going to get into the topic of music theory – in an approach that’s designed specifically with the harmonica in mind.
