In this course you will gain knowledge and understanding of my doctoral capstone experience where I had the pleasure of working at Steppingstone, a program of Every Childs Hope, and with youth who have experiences trauma. This presentation will educate viewers on social and emotional learning and the impact it can have on trauma inflicted youth. This Udemy course contains lectures, resources, and research articles to support social and emotional learning in mental health settings such as Steppingstone. The development of this course is based on research conducted prior to the start of my doctoral capstone experience. Citations are noted on each slide, as well as multiple reference slides are added at the end of this presentation. I encourage viewers to research these references as well.
