Description
This course focuses on assisting individuals and businesses to develop digital applications and software. Through an exploration of creativity, design and functionality, individuals and businesses are able to explore the best route to develop their applications and websites to provide the greatest functionality and effectiveness. The course is divided into five lectures and one. The first lecture introduces you to the topic, while the remainder of the course focuses on the creation, development and finalisation of your digital concept.
The course begins by taking you through the history of digital entrepreneurship, the possibilities and the potential within your own ideas. Once established, we begin by creating and sketching out a Venn diagram and wireframe to illustrate the features of your app or website and the different expectations. The wireframe are designed further through discussions on design, creativity and functionality, as to what are the best elements and what can and should be used in your design. The course then explores the differences between design and functionality and how to deploy your application in a global world.
Finally, the course describes and illustrates the different types of expenditure/revenue and funding models and the best way to earn a revenue. Revenue plays a pivotal role in any business, and it is a key function of any business, as it ensures its sustainability. Through this course you may gain a deeper understanding of what to expect in financial statements when starting your digital enterprise.
