Dr. Jihad Kudsi, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon in general surgery and obesity medicine, with extensive expertise in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery. He serves as the Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery at University of Chicago/AdventHealth LaGrange Hospital and is the Chair of Surgery at Duly Health and Care.

Dr. Kudsi completed his General Surgery Internship at Mayo Clinic and his Residency at George Washington University, followed by a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital. As a Clinical Board Director and researcher in bariatric surgery and obesity medicine, he has contributed to advancing the field through peer-reviewed publications, clinical research, and education.

With years of experience in both surgical and non-surgical weight loss strategies, Dr. Kudsi is passionate about empowering patients with the right knowledge and tools to succeed in their weight loss journey.
