In this course, we will address the causes versus the symptoms of stress, and then cover five techniques for reducing stress and bringing more joy into our lives, as well as a bonus lecture and journaling activity from our Udemy course: βUsing Intuition and Mindfulness in Work & Life.β
Activities include learning to identify stress in the body so that you can begin to notice when you’re stressed (so you can do something about it!), deep breathing for greater relaxation and calming down when feeling anxious, a grounding meditation to remain calm and centered, a mindfulness activity for developing a positive outlook, and a quick activity for heading off panic attacks before they start.
Participants will leave with actionable meditations and exercises that they can return to at any time when they feel the need to re-center and manage their stress levels. These tools are a jump-start of best practices so that you can begin feeling calmer and more centered, starting today.
