Description
This course is about Database Management System (DBMS) based on Microsoft Access. Students will learn to use the key tools of the database management System. Microsoft calls the tools objects. If we adopt their language the objects are table, Form, Query, and Reports. All the tools are presented as summarized here:
1. The table: The table is the most important part of a database management system. The table contains all the data in the database. If your data is not in the table is not in your database. Students will learn to create and manage Access tables
2. Form presents a user-friendly interface for entering data into the database table. With the form, anybody including children can enter information into the database. In this section, students will learn to create and manage Forms.
3. Query: This this a strong tool in the database management system. We create a database so that we can query it. Without a query, people will not be eager to create a database, It is the query you use to request some information in a database. In this section, students will acquire the skills for designing a database and the skills to request information from it.
4. Report: We create a database so that we can generate reports. The report object offers tools not only to generate reports but to print and share such reports.
