This course breaks downΒ the fundamentals of getting a job in technology, show’s you where to start, how to code, the structure of software applications and how tech’ organisations operate.
This course will silence that voice in your head that’s been holding you back, help you identify a job that’s right for you and teach you the first steps you need to get into a tech’ organisation and get the job that you’ve been looking for.
This series of lectures is also designed for non-technical people that want to gain a better understanding of running software projects, this makes it ideal if you are looking to build your own tech’ company and don’t know where to start or want to bring on some technical staff for a project that you want to build and finance.
We will be covering why getting a job in technology is a great move, imposter syndrome and building an app using HTML, CSS and Javascript. We will then cover the architecture of most software applications and how software gets delivered in a tech’ organisations. We will go through lots of roles within a tech’ organisation to help you identify one that sounds good to you. We will then wrap up with how you can go about contacting a company and getting yourself a job.
