Description
Statistics Fundamentals
Kickstart your journey with Statistics by learning the foundational concepts needed to run and interpret statistical tests to support better decision-making.
- Use descriptive statistics to understand your data
- Leverage inferential statistics to generate actionable insights
- Apply these concepts to help turn data into results
Statistics Fundamentals Course Overview
Statistics Fundamentals introduces the foundational concepts needed to run a statistical test and interpret the results. We will overview the two branches of statistics–descriptive statistics and inferential statistics—and run hypothesis tests on real and simulated data sets using Excel’s Data Analysis Tool pack. We’ll also examine key fundamental concepts like the Central Limit Theorem, Empirical Rule, and Law of Large Numbers.
The topics covered in this course will support you in conducting good analysis, applying data to business decisions, and exploring the more advanced topics within the Business Intelligence and Data Analysis program such as machine algorithms.
