The Microsoft AZ-220 exam, also known as the Microsoft Azure IoT Developer exam, consists of approximately 40-60 multiple-choice questions. The exact number of questions may vary as Microsoft updates the exam periodically to ensure its relevance to the latest version of Microsoft Azure.

In addition to the multiple-choice questions, the exam may also include some performance-based tasks, also known as labs, that require the test-taker to perform specific tasks in a simulated Azure environment. These tasks are designed to test the test-taker’s ability to apply their knowledge and skills to real-world scenarios.

The passing score for the Microsoft AZ-220 exam is 700 out of 1000 points. Test-takers have 150 minutes to complete the exam, and they must pay a fee to register for the exam, which may vary depending on the country and the currency used.
