Description
In this course/presentation, we will have a look at how the outer planets and related archetypes act as cosmic clocks in astrology, as galactic timers which seem to be correlated with our personal and collective growth.
In other words, the movement of the planets in the sky seems to have relevance and to influence human affairs, acting as they do as “maps of becoming” of our development and maturity.
We will also consider the meaning of Archetypes in general and delve deeper into the planetary archetypes related to the 5 outer planets and their meanings.
A well-trained astrologer, preferably with a psychologΓ¬cal background, can study a person’s chart and when the transiting or progressed planets activate one’s natal planets, it is possible to decipher the evolutionary map decided by one’s soul before incarnation, the soul’s lessons plan, so to speak.
In this short introduction, all we plan to do isΒ actually show the link between Cosmos and Psyche by providing practical examples of how the transits of the outer planets in hard aspect with each other seem to have had great relevance on the development of human affairs in mundane astrology (of the collective) in the past, and view present and future projections.
This is not about predicting the future so much as trying to decipher tendencies and understanding where and how attention is needed, in which area and for which purpose, where the wind of change directing our collective developments seem to be blowing.
We will also briefly consider the reason why astrology works, from three different angles (psychology, physics and philosophy).
After showing how past events and outer planet transits seem to be correlated, we will discuss present and future tendencies and end by summarising any observations regarding what the future might bring, ending with a hopeful conclusion.
