Description
Welcome to Technical Communication 101: The Fundamentals of Clear Dialogue!
When world-class communicators speak or write, they are precise, clear, and persuasive. They know that word choice and tone are more than important; they are vital. Regardless of your field, you rely on a distinct language to communicate complex ideas. Your ability to communicate with clarity is an ever-increasingly valuable skill as more and more of our language becomes decentralized.
I created this introductory five-part course to offer you, the participant, a deep dive into the foundational practices and insights of communication on a technical level. After successfully working in relationship management for over 10 years in six industries and receiving a Master’s in Communication, the information in this course acts as a kick-starter and reference for your technical communication development.
For those already immersed in the field of communication, this course will refine your skills by introducing unique methods and insights. If you’re a newcomer, you will find that after this course, you’ll never hear conversations or see written communication in the same way.
Upon completing this course, there are nearly 100 interactive exercises and references to further support and encourage your technical communication development to reach clear dialogue.
Thank you for taking this step toward personal and professional growth, and enjoy the course ahead!
P.S. If you want to breeze through this course, feel free to play the video speed at 1.25x or more! (I do this frequently.)
