Description

Semitic Bible Learning Methods are different from the Greek methods that are taught in Western countries and the United States. Semitic people were taught to write differently than Greek thought people. The Bible is a Semitic document. It is time for people to read it as a Semitic document. The first part of the book suggested for the course gives a comprehensive analysis of what Semitic Bible Learning Methods are. Then the Parsha Bereshit is examined. The student will also be introduced to other material that is used to examine the Hebrew Scriptures. There are 52 Parsha so that in one year the entire Torah is read in the Synagogue. Each Parsha is divided into seven sections for daily reading. Each aliyot is examined using the Bible, the Targum, the Zohar, the Talmud, and the book of Midrash. There are Legends and Parsha parables that are included for every Parsha. The Parsha parables are offered for the entire parsha while the Legends are directed to the Aliyah being examined. The student will be discover that the culture of the authors is deeply integrated into the Scripture writings. Also, the cosmology of the authors is also a part of the sacred writings. This is expected that the authors would have their influence on God’s word.
