Electrical Equipment Sizing

Indian Electrical Standards

Optimum selection of electrical equipment

Description

The objective of this course is to help the students of electrical & power engineering understand the significance of electrical designing applied in industries. The structure of this course will enable the students to understand the importance of the optimum selection of electrical equipment such as Transformer, Motors, generators, switch gear, capacitor bank, cable selection, earthing, lighting, lightning arestors which are based as per Indian standards. Project & practical implementation of designing requires knowledge of key concepts that have to be calculated & analyzed which is presented in this lesson. As we progress ahead in the course I will give you details of designing software E tap which is widely used.
