In today’s complex project environment, it has been proven over and over that accurately understanding the client’s requirements can make the difference between success and failure. Clients who feel that you can understand their needs and requirements are more likely to award you the contract or project. Project managers who can solicit the correct requirements and details are more likely to make it to the project’s finish line.

In this 1 hour course, we cover the introduction portion of the CBAP Exam Preparation Course with the aim that it will be a good guide for you to determine if pursuing the CBAP certification is a good choice for your career. We cover the first two chapters of the BABOK (which are part of the CBAP training curriculum). This includes learning about:

  • the structure of the BABOK
  • what is business analysis
  • who is a business analyst
  • the Knowledge Areas in the BABOK
  • Requirements Classification Schema
  • Who are stakeholders

You will also begin your journey to prepare to sit for Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) certification exam offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), based out of Toronto, Canada.
