In this course designed for staff in group homes and STRTPs in California, you will learn how you can support the healthy sexual development of youth in foster care, including what you can, can’t, must and may do as staff. The course includes legal information and information on licensing rules as well as suggestions regarding best practice. Participants will be able to download a number of resources and referrals that can be used in your work. The training complies with the training mandates of the California Foster Youth Sexual Health Education Act (Senate Bill 89).
