Throughout this course, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how climate change intersects with social inequalities, affecting marginalized communities in unique and profound ways. By applying an intersectional framework, they’ll learn to assess and analyze the social phenomena that contribute to the disproportionate impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities. As participants engage with these issues, they will also develop the skills to lead action for climate justice and advocacy, with a focus on achieving a socially just and equitable future. They will explore real-world examples, actionable solutions, and strategies to contribute to and advocate for change.
